Hindin Miller was born in Auckland in 1950. After seven
years of teaching and over five years as musician, a probation counselor
and as a freelance writer, he turned his attention to writing for children.
His first book was ESTRALITA, an illustrated fantasy tale, published
in 1984. He is also a songwriter with works recorded in New Zealand. and
overseas. |

Grant
Hindin Miller is a New Zealand writer whose credits include
four books, the scripts of three motion pictures, and the words and music
of more than one hundred songs. He has created 4 Music CDs. A collection
of his poetry and short stories were published in 1978. He wrote a children's
novel 'The Dream Monger' set in the Depression of the 1930s.
Married with two children, Rebeccah and
Isaac, he and his wife Jenny live
in Christchurch.
